A Merry early Christmas...

After debating and researching for about a year I've finally gone Mac! From my dad and my husband...

I love it and it's so flippin' fast! With that said...I'm way out of my comfort zone! In fact, I'm blogging now from my old PC just for a bit of comfort LOL I woke up at 3:10 yesterday a.m. thinking I figured out how to do something on the Mac that I was trying to do the night before. Just to find out no, it didn't work. No regrets but man it's frustrating. Now shopping for a new Photoshop program.

And a little more merry!

Alec and Alyssa both had their art displayed at the annual art show at their school. I didn't get to go, but I was pleasantly surprised when Chad, Alec and Alyssa came home from the show with their art work in hand! I have the perfect place to hang them both!

Browsing the Black Friday ads. Starting with Starbucks, Alyssa and I are up dark and early with list in hand to go shopping. It's tradition!

A lot of hard work. Commitment to the team. Laughing. Singing. Dancing. Friendships.

It was an awesome (and very tiring) day!

journaling reads: After our first snowy and very cold winter in Ohio, something as simple as riding bikes outside is a joy we took for granted when we lived in California (3-2-08) 

my favorite way to use HS ghost shapes is to add rub ons. cool effect and endless possibilities.

tried stamping and layering with rub ons. can you tell rub ons are a scrapping staple?!?

• a few work meetings (am I sure I want to go back to work?)
• gifted testing for Alec (an interruption in summer break)
• Alec's oral surgery
• and all the day to day life stuff

and you have my last week. Hard to believe next week I go back to work and in a few weeks Alec and Alyssa go back to school.

Oh and the little detail of celebrating my birthday! Still pondering how I feel about this.
