Summer is coming to an end. I'm back at work and Alec and Alyssa go back to school next week. Back to rules and routines of the school year. Back to cheerleading competitions, cross country, homework, 3 days unplugged and bedtimes. But, back to school and work is also a new job, friends, recess, wearing new school clothes, teachers (most of them) and favorite cafeteria lunches (yes, my kids like eating school cafeteria food.)

Oh and one more thing. A new Twilight Saga New Moon trailer. It's going to be as good as, if not better, than Twilight!

Where the Wild Things Are

A long time family favorite book.

What is it about Twilight?

What is the appeal that surpasses the "young adults" and includes moms, dads, not quite young adults yet, grandparents, SAHMs and professionals? 

Admittedly some of the success can be attributed to smart marketing. 

But, there has to be something more to a book that makes me want to read the series again, stand in line for hours to see the movie, eager for the next release and own a Team Edward t-shirt.
