Sometimes it's just have one of those days...kwim? No rhyme or reason, no discernible pattern and never lasting more than a day or so. Try my hardest to stay positive and confident. Sometimes it feels like a life test and in 30 some odd years I'm able to make an A-!

What makes me happy! What makes me smile! What makes me feel better at the end of a bad day! The life is oh so good kind of things!

• putting on clothes from a previous season that fit the same or better than they did before

• the thought of climbing Half Dome
• accomplishing my 2006 intentions
• seeing that "I never thought I would think this but you're right" look on the face of a kid I've been working with the whole school year

May Challenge Week 2

Introducing more of me...very "never know what mood" moody!

Discouraged. Happy. Worried. Confident. Safe. Creative. Self defeating. Wonderful. Uneasy. Social. Ya know it all depends on the mood.

I know this hasn't always been the case and I know I have gotten more so as I get older. Other than that it's anyone's guess. Oh and the other thing I do know is I have the most patient and understanding husband ever!

May Challenge Week 1

This month's Self Portrait Challenge is an introduction.

I guess it would make sense to start with my name. I'm Jill and everyone calls me Jill except my husband who calls me beautiful and 2 chlildren who call me mom (or the occasional mommy). I've been married almost 13 years.

I decided to participate in the Self Portrait Challenge to step outside of my comfort zone. Not just that very comfortable zone of being behind the camera but also the quality and creativity of my photography.
