Love having a day to celebrate photographs, memories, the day to day, the little things, color, journaling, friends...celebrating scrapbooking!

Did a little shopping, organizing, creating, chatting online.

Shopping...fun pattern papers, colorful primas, little black album for my photography portfolio of favs (that has been on my list to buy forever), and last but not least this so cool Shadow Box Frame by Bazzill! It's double sided! One of those great, but so simple "why didn't I think of that" ideas.

Creating...started my Mother's Day Album! Inspired by The Big Picture I created a list of 20 questions about me...mom, that Alec and Alyssa will answer every Mother's Day. Completed a few layouts but only scanned one so far. Had a great day and now when the family wakes up I'll probably be banned from my studio for the day LOL A ginormous thank you to my husband for letting me have the day!

One last note...patting myself on the back for doing a great job at using my stash. JUST USE IT is my new motto!

These pics were not taken this Saturday but if given the choice this is what my son would do every Saturday! I love watching him play...his facial expressions, determination and oh so serious. He's pretty good too! To me, watching him is more than my son playing a game. I see my son's confidence and resolve to improve! I love the "less than perfectly composed" shots! The pics show exactly what I see...kwim!?!

Spent some of my "ME" time this a.m. playing with AL rub ons by RF. They're some of the best I've ever used. Brilliant colors and they rub on so easily! Loved doing this!

My Saturday has been great and so much fun. A little girl time, family time, me time and shopping. And Starbucks...not once but 3 times today! First, I had to go early this a.m. b/c my darn coffee maker isn't working. Then, after a few hours shopping with a friend we stopped for a coffee and a chat.Third, my family wanted our regular weekend trip to Starbucks. Who was I to tell them no after they were so agreeable with my plans for the day. I only had coffee the first 2 trips and Zen hot tea the last trip. Just makes me laugh!

My daughter loves to do things for people and one of her all time favorites is making mommy or daddy breakfast in bed. This morning was breakfast in bed for------------> daddy! She made the whole breakfast herself and only needed help taking the tray up the stairs. Poor Chad I think he wanted to sleep late LOL

We're surrouned by 102 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies! Waiting to be separated and bagged for delivery.

In the meantime, Alec entertains himself...and us too!
