Life...As I See It

After a week of being sicker than he has ever been before. A week out of school. A week of worrying, sleepless nights, the thermometer and medicine. I'm so happy to see that smile...

and that grin when trying not to smile.

My bucket list

My friend Aimeslee, who I'm just finding out has a wonderful artsy blog, Paper Paisleys ,tagged me with a twist. Instead of everyone having the same tag she made each one unique. Unique to a particular quality or strength of the tagee. She's clever that way :)

My Bucket List

   

  

1. Go to Greece with my daughter.
2. Run a race in as many different states as I can. 
3. Go back to California to climb Half Dome.  
4. Go to Paris with my husband. 
5. Hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon with my son.  
6. Get my doctorate in Special Education and be a consultant for special education program development. 

Now, I'm supposed to tag 6 people with a unique question. To be unique with each person it will take a bit more time than I have tonight, so those names will be in my next post :)

Q- Quote(s): Anna Quindlen: ...but the biggest mistake I made is the one that most of us make while doing this. I did not live in the moment enough. This is particularly clear now that the moment is gone, captured only in photographs. There is one picture  of the three of them sitting  in the grass on a quilt in the swing set on a summer day, ages 6, 4 and 1. And I wish I could remember what we ate, and what we talked about, and how they sounded, and how they looked when the slept that night.
