Family Gratitude Spinner
I took Ali's concept, added and changed a few things to make it "me". While working on this project I used techniques I hadn't used in forever, heat embossing, browsed old photos, used my stash, learned a few tips for scanning photos and learned a lot about photo restoration with photoshop.

Family Gratitude Spinner Album One of my in-the-works changes has been to display more photos and to have my scrapbook albums more accessible to everyone. That means moving things out of my studio. The Gratitude Spinner is perfect in our new library along with all of my scrapbook albums and minis. I moved photo displays to other rooms of the house. Now everyone can enjoy the photo projects and displays easily at anytime.
Project Gratitude
Week 4: Kindness of Friends
I had the happiest of mail days when I received this wonderful book,
12 Secrets of Highly Creative Women from my online friend, Lee. You can see her blog here
Lemons 2 Lemonade. It amazes me when random acts of kindness like this happen on a day when they're most needed. Lee's thoughtful gift and kind words made my day. Thank you Lee :)
We're on Day 3 of snow days! While I love the unplanned day off from work and extra scrapping time, 3 days of not leaving the house tests the limits of my sanity.
I don't think Alyssa minds having 3 snow days. Although, no school means no cheer practice :( Since that is the case, she would rather go to school.
Have a great and warm day!
Alyssa looks so pretty all bundled up! :) I think I'd be a little stir crazy too. It was weird enough having one snow day here last week. Your spinner looks wonderful! And such a great idea to spread your projects around the house. Too often our creations end up tucked away in a "safe" place even though we created them to share & enjoy.

I love your spinner! I keep looking at these at Archiver's but not sure if I could make it look nice. Love that you are moving things out where people can enjoy them. I did this last fall and I've found that more than anyone I enjoy them more!!

I love the spinner. I keep our albums in the family room where the kids can look at them and they look at them often, which makes me happy that they are being enjoyed. And I love your new blog header.

Love the spinner! It's certainly a great idea! I also love your 'snow' photos too - says she who has been swimming in the pool today - the temperature here in my little part of Australia, stands at 42.4C (108.3F) and it appears to be still rising!

Love your spinner, Jill. I *guess* I can empathize with being snowed in for 3 days...but I'd be lying if I didn't add that I do lengths of longer than that at home on a regular basis and love it...You are used to being out and about though. My parents are iced in right now without electricity, so I hope this thing warms up for all of ya'll tomorrow! xoxo
