With the school year coming close to the end the Sixth graders are beginning to celebrate accomplishments, plan activities, visit their new schools, schedule classes for next year and getting ready to say good-bye to their elementary school. A few weeks ago the school gave each sixth grader a t-shirt. No big deal, right?
The first time I saw Alec wear his shirt the last 7 years played in my mind like a slideshow.
From this...
Kindergarten (and the most amazing teacher)
to this...
the Class of 2015
Of course I knew it was coming but seeing it up close and personal put a new perspective on time. What next? Prom? Driving?
Awwww! I remember those feelings all too well. Kinda gets you all the way to the bottom of your heart, huh?
