Team-Up Thursday: White Space
Another Team Up Thursday that Tina and I had the same idea for our TUT theme this week...running. A shot of my medal from my most recent half marathon was taken for my running album. Not quite as white space-ish as some of the other shots but it was my favorite. I love Tina's track image. Nicely shot and a great example of white space with leading lines.
And now
13 Reasons to Wake Up Early
- My favorite time of day is 5:00 a.m.
- Uninterrupted time to myself.
- Savoring the promise of a new day. Possibilities are endless.
- The silence of my home.
- Time to plan and prepare for the day ahead of me.
- Seeing the sun rise.
- No rushing. No mornings of "I'm running late."
- I have time to enjoy breakfast with Alec before he goes to school and I go to work.
- I am more productive in the morning.
- Free time to do whatever I need and/or want to do.
- The first sound of birds chirping.
- The weather is cool and crisp.
- Starting my day early makes me feel energized. Ready for the day.
My day always runs so much smoother if I'm not rushed in the morning. Happy T13!

I too am an early riser!! I love the peace and quiet before the day and hustle/bustle begins. You betcha...morning, sunrise, quiet, birds singing uninterrupted....love it.
My 13 is TV flashback, with Paul Lynde. Comedy responses HERE
Do hope you can find time to stop by for a visit.

I agree--morning time is the most productive. When I get a lot done before the rest of the world goes to work, it feels sooooo good!

Great dip - the two of you are on the same wavelength! I love all the reasons you list for the mornings.

My reaction to 'My favorite time of day is 5:00 a.m.' was to shudder. I'm a night owl.
5:00 am to me is just when my rapid eye movement sleep gets going and I'm into my best dreaming. I bumble through mornings, no matter what is going on, with a haze over me which never lifts until about noon. Then my energy starts picking up, and I notice at around 3:00 pm when all the early birds lose steam and start packing it in, I'm just hitting my stride. My energy only continues to build throughout the early evening, and my creative peak hits between 8:00 pm and midnight. That's when I write my fiction. That's when I'm at my happiest. So there's a part of me that can relate to your 5:00 am happy time. LOL - the world needs all of us, the early birds and the night owls.

Your shots go together perfectly! Both are fabulous! I am still in awe of you and your running :)

I would have for sure guessed "running" for this diptych. But the negative space kind of sneaks up on you, quite nicely. :)

I'm not a morning person, but you have a lot of good points! The quiet, the time alone, the weather... all good things.

Five A.M.?! *gulp, sputter, cough* I'm never really awake at that time in the day/night.

I love morning for reasons #2 and #4. I love to be "alone" in the house, but not be alone.
