Our vacation was perfect and beyond expectation, but my favorite part was the photo walk in downtown Charleston. Colors. Textures. The contrast of time gone by. Photo opportunities that are so vastly different from my everyday life. Thank you Jean!

All of your shots are GORGEOUS. It's hard to mention any favorites, but I do love the two brown-brick-with-green-shutters shots. Thanks for taking us along on your trip!

Beautiful photos, Jill! I especially like the first, and numbers 9, 10 and 12. I love old houses and cemeteries!

We both did pictures, but the feel is so different. They really give you a sense of place.

Lots of big beautiful houses and history there. Did you visit the slavery museum? I heard there was one, or a historic tour.

I've got a question for you...those blue hydrangeas on the side of the grave stone...they're abundant down the Cape, too...and bluer the closer you get to the water...know why? Your photos are lovely :-)

Beautiful photos.. yes, the south is more relaxed than the north... we used to live in Mississippi where nothing was in a hurry.
As for my TO DO list... well, I finally got the smoking done and it turned out delicious and actually I only had three things left undone when I left for the airport to pick up my brother. All in all, not bad... you know.. it looks like the items with the heavy ladder are the ones I didn't get to... hmm... ;)
