There seems to be a running theme here. My favorite fruit right now is blueberries because I'm picking them from my garden. 2 pies so far.

It shouldn't surprise me that your favorite regular shoe would involve running. :) Mine are crocks.

What a great list.
My favorite running shoe is Solomons... really love the easy lace-up system. I am less than a year into walking and running. Our son ran in the Portland marathon, first time last October... it was a huge imspiratation for me. Last fall my doctor told me I had pre-diabetes. So I made a commitment to lose 35 pounds before my next annual physical exam. Running and consistent walking with my wife has really helped.
Really love your website... Spent a very enjoyable couple of hours on the weekend reading and exploring it. I am only 6 months into blogging, so am very impressed with all that you have accomplished in 6 years. You remind me often of my daughter, Sherilee (my Sweet Tea and Sunshine girl). She is also into being grateful... a wonderful quality. I love your Project Gratitude.
Have you read Born to Run, -by Chris McDougall? When I saw the "glove" shoe, I thought you must have read it. My son put me onto it... a great read.
I have made notes and next will get some of the books that you mentioned. Sherilee visits home a couple times a year, and last weekend she was here and helped us get Adobe Photoshop Elements working. So much to learn and so little time!
You have a wonderful family, marriage and children... a real inspiration to all of us. I don't know how you do all the family stuff and still have time for all the creative stuff? Truly amazing!

Hey, that's my dad commenting above! :)
Love the favorites, that's a great idea I'll tuck away for another Thursday!
I will check out those songs--I am always in need of extra inspiration on the treadmill...

Favorite shoes... Canvas slip-ons -- too bad they're not good for walking! Favorite Drink... Water. Favorite TV Program... Masterpiece Mystery -- it's the only program I've watched all summer (the consequences of not having cable...sniff!) Favorite Ice Cream... Usually it's a tie between mint chip and fudge brownie, but right now it's Edy's Mango -- fresh, clean flavor with huge chunks of fruit. Favorite Song... "Home to Madison" by Tracy Silverman.
