Thursday 13 : A New Fitness Challenge: P90X
Since my next marathon training program won't start until January I thought this would be the perfect time to commit to an intensive strength training program. Details: the obligatory "before" photo, 4:30 a.m. workouts, a fitness coach, breakfast smoothies, DVD home workout (a first for me), motivation and inspiration, a training schedule, a nutrition plan, weights, and my favorite Smart Wool socks. 90 days. Intense. 7 days/week. Kicking my butt. Loving it!

Lovely lovely leaves. We don't get them much in our parts so I love seeing pics of them. And P90X? You go, it's so tough! But you'll feel great.

Our son, tho no longer running in marathons, has completed three of these. I know how grueling and demanding these 'races' are!! You go...your determination will make you a winner.

Have a great Thursday!

You go girl! I tried two sessions (two one-hour sessions) of P90X and almost died ... I didn't go back to it. All the power to you - GOOD LUCK!

My sisters all do the P90X. I actually have the dvds, but only do it very sporadically. I run and do body pump or yoga or whatever. Love that you are so driven. And your fall pics are gorgeous, as usual.

My word, I have so much admiration for you - 4.30am and workouts are two terms that I have trouble with! Good for you! xx

Wow... good for you. My brother and his wife do P90X and look great. I fear I need to start a bit more slowly than that. P90X would probably kill me from what I've seen of it. But in the long run that is a good goal for me to work toward. I gained some weight (my sympathy baby bump) when Shannon was pregnant two years ago, and am still working that off. ;) Have a great weekend!
