Part 1: SOOC
Theme: Good Night
Reading. Good night means tucking in and reading. I can't remember a night when we didn't read before going to sleep.
Happiness Captured :: Week 4
Happiness captured for Week 4? 1 hour and a volleyball game.
Me:: Venti Hot Green Tea and a Grande Skinny Latte Extra Hot with scones. One hour at Starbucks with Chad. A much needed one hour for just the 2 of us.
Lee:: Normally Chloe is far more comfortable on a singing team (aka choir) than a team sport. She is so thrilled for the opportunity to play on her school team she just beams when she is on the court. I am thrilled that our girl is exploring other activities and even more thrilled that she has found a love of volleyball enjoyed by both her older sister and her mama. (The quality is not the best, but a fuzzy happy is better than no happy capture at all!)
the Simple Things
A photowalk. Taking advantage of above freezing temperatures. Enjoying the fresh air.
Jill - I love your SOOC shot!!!
Your river shot is BEAUTIFUL! If only the temps around here would warm up I want to go back to a location near us and shoot with all the snow around the river too.
Blessings and thanks for joining us again!

That is fabulous that you have a child who enjoys reading so much! Great shot of your little reader! :)

I still love to read - but I always have. It settles my mind.

That is so cool that reading is still a custom, even if the medium has changed. I remember having to use a flashlight some nights when trying to finish a good book.
Love the team spirit as well.

Great photos! We read here every night too. :) In fact, I meant to take a photo of the books Dylan & I typically read together and forgot again! He's gone to bed and I don't dare go in there now. Hopefully tomorrow I'll remember or I'll have to come up with another idea.

These are all wonderful! We read books every night with both our little ones. In fact, my four year old flat out won't go to bed without at least two being read to her, then sometimes she'll turn on her light after we've tucked her in and I can hear her pretending to read her library books - it's really cute :)

We always read to Dustyn before bed. What kind of reader does he have. Hubby just got the Nook Color. Great photos. I love the last one.

great river shot! I should head down to our river and see if there's anything interesting going on. And we usually read before bed too!
