One Little Word | Embrace [who I am]
One little word can have a big impact on your life. A journey shared.
I now have a basic plan for my OLW album. Each month I will document Embrace [who I am] with 1- 3x3 divided page protector, 4- self portraits and 4 photos from my weekly photo challenge, One Little Word | Captured. In addition to the photos I will include quotes, journaling from my weekly blog post, and tidbits from day to day life representing my journey. I will also incorporate ideas and inspiration from Ali's class.
Note: My printing didn't arrive in time to have everything photographed for the blog hop. So, for the February blog hop I'm sharing the weekly photos.
Week 1 & 2 Embrace [captured] Week 1 & 2 Self Portrait
Week 3 & 4 Embrace [captured] Week 3 & 4 Self Portrait
Week 5 & 6 Embrace [captured] Week 5 & 6 Self Portrait
I created a digital element for the quote below. Shared by Brene Brown on her web site, Ordinary Courage.
As well as this from Brene Brown
I'm happy with the way this album is coming together.
Feel free to join my weekly photography challenge at anytime. Great ideas, support, encouragement and inspiration shared by the participants.

I am reading The Gifts of Imperfection, too! Don't you just LOVE it!! I'm taking one of her guideposts each month and really focusing on it for the full month. March is Learning to Bounce Back, and I love how it works with Ali's OLW charge to Take Action. Looking forward to a Great March!

I just got The Gifts of Imperfection and have skimmed through it a couple of times. Now time to sit down and really read - take notes, mark up, hilight! Thank you so much for all of this Jill, I'm LOVING the photo challenge :)

Love your ideas for the One Little Word album. I have yet to create anything ... all I have done is the title page (I need an assistant at home so I can dedicate more time to creating). Thank you again for the photo ideas for my One Little Word. I will again be participating this week.

Wonderful job Jill! I love all of your self-portraits, you've captured a lot about yourself. Inspiring! TFS.

I love the hue of your photos. Great quotes too - I may have to print out a couple of those for the fridge; for some reason my kids will read whatever is up there!

love all the self-portraits. you are inspiring me to get myself in front of the camera more! I've read "The Gifts of Imperfection" three times now. It speaks to me on a soul level. Hard to describe, but it is really changing my life!

I really like your photos, especially the one of you with the wine. For some reason, that one feels the most like "embrace" to me, I don't know why.
Cynthia #44 (my word is also embrace!)

Your photos are gorgeous and inspiring. I love the stuff you've created for Brene Brown. I read the Gifts of Imperfection earlier this year, but I would love to revisit it and take some notes. So much good stuff to absorb and "embrace" =)
Happy blog hopping! (Jen from #34)

Thanks for visiting and the comment. Some of the pics are not as self explanatory with regard to embrace but my journaling makes the connection and what it means to me. I'll be visiting the blog hop blogs this evening after dinner :)
