Week Eleven
A work in progress. This month Ali mentioned the natural ebb and flow of this project. I've kept up with my word and haven't, yet, experienced loss of momentum, inspiration or motivation. I do wonder if this momentum will remain throughout the year. So I've thought back and made note of what am I doing to stay "in touch" with my word? These are the things that are working for me right now:
- My weekly photography challenge! It keeps me accountable. It gives me a place to journal at least weekly. It keeps me documenting the way I envisioned from the beginning. It challenges me. It keeps me motivated and encouraged seeing/reading other OLW blog posts.
- Accessibility. My project, supplies and all, stay on the desk in my studio. Easily accessible when I have a few (or a lot) minutes to spare.
- Notes. I keep a small notebook in my purse to jot down ideas, quotes, photo inspiration, etc.
So, that is what I have come up with so far. Maintaining the momentum.
What about you? Are you keeping in touch with your word? Are you experiencing the ebb and flow? Are you keeping up with the momentum this month compared to January?
One little request. After you link up please visit some (or all) of the other participant's blogs and leave a few words of encouragement. A few kind words go a long way.
Have a great weekend!
Now the link up!
Great photo. :)

You know, I'm not sure. My word is there in the background of each day, at least partly because of my daily 'detail' photos. I do need to knuckle down to learning the details of my camera, though. Too much else seems to have been happening round here lately, but it is next on my list!

Funny how we both took pics of our desks this week :)

I had a bit of a catch up this week! I've been very mindful of "do" since early January. It really has been incorporated into my every day :) Thanks for doing this challenge, Jill - it just keeps it all the more front-of-mind!

I think this weekly photo challenge has kept me the most accountable. I would not be reflecting and journaling each Saturday with out it. My motivation otherwise is up and down. I'm not as good at noticing my word outside my home. I feel a complete separation while at work. :( Something to explore in this next week!

Love the photo - sounds like you are really keeping yourself challenged with your word. I myself have lost some focus on my word and have not been in the mood to journal about it much. My dad has been in the hospital and we have just found out he has cancer and so my word challenge has really taken a backseat to everything else. Although I guess I am challenging myself in just getting through each and every day.

i agree with kimberly. it is this photo challenge that keeps me the most accountable. i find myself, midweek, starting to think about this week's post and it keeps me in touch with my word. and because i don't want all my posts to be about the steps i've made in learning photography, it's made me look farther around me to find where my word is touching my life. so thank YOU for keeping me on track!
