Part 2: Edit
Theme: Yellow
SOOC
Edit
For this photo I knew my primary goal of editing was increase sharpness and detail and vivid colors. Not a lot of editing done to achieve the look I wanted.

And because I couldn't resist playing with the Ashley's sun flare tutorial and my original "yellow" shot wasn't the right photo for sun flare I've added a second Shoot and Edit shot. My daughter's cheerleading team at a national competition in Orlando, Florida last weekend. With shooting in the shade you can't tell from the SOOC it was a beautiful sunny afternoon. Looking at my edit I see where I might want to do a few minor layer adjustments. I'm sure I'll be using this technique again.
Your first edit is perfect - I'm not sure I completely love the sun-kissed on your second edit, but I love that you tried it!

They're both so lovely and dramatic. The lens flare in the group shot looks really life like, too. :)

How fun for your girl!!! Yay!! Looks like they had fun! (well, at least they're all smiling!)
Great job on the first -- a very cool way to document the metal.
I like how the sunkissed action brightened up the second shot.

Wonderful edits! Love that you tried Ashley's tutorial. I played with it but it didn't work well with my photo. Is that your medal for running a marathon?! Wow! I'm a runner to, but just 5K's. Possibly a 10K eventually, but I don't have marathon plans. :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog last week! I'm just now getting caught up. We had some really nice weather so I didn't want to stay cooped up inside on the computer. :)

Thank you Kimberly. Yes. That's my medal :) My Sun Kissed shot needs adjusting or maybe it's just not the right photo for the action. I wouldn't get much computer time either if we had nice weather.
