My first week of joining Texture Twist at Life -n- Reflection.
I kept it simple this week. Not really simple for me but I'm guessing for the more experienced texture enthusiasts this is a simple application.
I used the Life In Reflection Sugar Cookie texture on 2 layers with blending modes soft and hard light. Adjusted the opacity of the hard light layer, removed some of the texture with the eraser tool, flattened and saved.
Applying textures is still so new to me and I have a lot to learn. I welcome your tips and suggestions. What would you have done differently to this photo?
Jill, I love it!! Like you removed the texture from the flower in focus! Thanks for linking up!

I think it's just the right touch. I haven't attempted any textures yet - one day...

Very pretty! I like how you combined soft light and hard light to get that hazy look, especially with the other flower being blurred in the background.
