The house is still quiet. First signs of a beautiful sunrise. Birds are singing. For the first time since Thursday I don't feel drugged and wanting to do nothing but sleep. Beginning to feel like I'm recovering from surgery :)
Enjoying this challenge and learning a little bit more each week.
Side note. I'm finding that textures on photos with people are more of a challenge. Anyone want to share a link to a photo of people with texture added? Thanks.
On Sunday morning the family sleeps later than the rest of the week. My coveted "me" time is a little bit longer than usual.
Enjoy your "me" time, Jill!

Oh my! I am in LOVE with that first photo. Gorgeous girl. And I couldn't agree more about textures. I also find it more challenging with people. Thanks for stopping by. It is hard to express with words what I want to say, so I'm hoping my photos evoke those emotions I can not articulate.

gorgeous flower! and what is that in your 2nd picture - is that a game, or have I just not had enough coffee yet?

Jill,
Try using a layer mask for texture on portraits. Just brush over the areas you don't want the texture to show.
Love your cheerful Texture Twist!!

Thanks Kristy. I use layer masks a lot but can't seem to get it right with people. Maybe it's the type of textures I'm choosing? No worries. I'll just keep playing until I get it right :)

That's a great time of day. My favorite: quiet time for me in the morning on the computer. Not that I get it. ;)
