Two things this week. First, remember my quest to qualify as one of the Dirty Dozen in the Dirt Days Trail Race series? I found out yesterday that I did! Not only did I qualify, I'm #10 of the dozen!
Second. My Twelve In Twenty Twelve race calendar is complete. Obviously more than 12 half mary options primarily due to winter weather concerns and traveling but also due to life just happens.

This is simply a guide. A place to start. And always subject to change. Between now and January 1, 2012 I will add a marathon, decide if I'm running the trail race series again and hopefully add a Ragnar relay.
I'm happy to announce Twelve In Twenty-Twelve has teamed up with iFitness. They're generously willing to sponsor up to 12 runners to take on the 2012 challenge. They've been great to work with over the past month and I'm sure next year will be no different.
Who is willing to take on this challenge? Join me in 2012! Email me for details at jillconyers@gmail.com.
Happy Friday!

Hi Carrie. I'd love to have you join. What do you mean by geography being a problem? We can work out problems :)

Well that settles it then. I will see you at the Kentucky Derby Mini Marathon. No, I won't run it with you, but I will cheer you on and you can come over afterwards for brunch--I'll serve Shakeology. Which, by the way are yummy. The chocolate one is FANTABULOUS. The greenberry is good, but not like the chocolate. Don't know if you ever drank Slim Fast in the day, but you know how "chocolate" nutrition shakes always taste fake? Like chocolate flavoring with vitamins mixed in? Yeah, not Shakeology. It's like Dairy Queen. No lie.
Oh, and my husband sits on the Louisiville Sports Commission and is running the Half for them next week. (you have that one scheduled for next year...so I'll see you there, too!)
No link up for me this week. My post was just a quick blurb about ordering P90X2.

looks like flying pig is much later this year. judging from your race schedule- there may only be 2 races that I MIGHT be at- Derby and Air Force. Since I've raced both states already, they are lower priority but still worthy of me wanting to do again :)
Also, of course I'm up for the 12 in 2012 challenge!
Posted by: Lisa J | November 06, 2011 at 01:13 PM
I had the wrong date. Flying Pig is the 6th not the 16th. Of all the races there are only 2 chances to meet up? Who knows what the new year will bring. I'm emailing details of 12 in 2012 later today.
