Our Thurs. night chat when Chad and Alyssa get home from cheer. Animated. Excited.
 

Chad went shopping with me and when he saw my camera he asked with a grin, "When is this week long reflecting going to end." We have the best time together.

A Week In the Life, Inspired by Ali Edwards

2009 A Week In the Life

 

Traditional elements added to digital layouts.

I've been planning, making lists and gathering supplies for 2010 A Week In the Life.

The plan:

• 8.5 x 11
• hybrid
• 4 pages for each day (2 digital templates, single baseball card holder front and back)
• incorporating Ali Edwards' Alpha Tags, Daily Tabs, Today Sentiments Tabs, and Journal Cards found at Designer Digitals.

  
 

• Color scheme (undecided)
• Pattern Paper (undecided)
• Digital Templates (creating my own)
• A list of photo op ideas (Thanks Lee!)
• When time is a factor a minimum of photos and journaling daily.
• Keep it simple and doable.
• Use my stash. The only new will be the baseball card holders and the digital elements shown above.

 

This weekend...

I created this layout with the monthly 10x12 January template at Simple Scrapper

 

Finished and now ready to print 2009 A Week In the Life 2 (17 layouts). I'll add traditional embellishments after printing.

 

And completed January 1 - January 31 layouts for Project 365 with Gratitude

 

 
 
 

Documenting Life

 

Holidays in Hand with Jessica Sprague  started today! 

Day 1 is focusing on values and goals for the holiday season. What matters most? What values do you hope to instill in your family? What do you hope to accomplish this holiday season?

First, the values...
gratitude, joy, traditions, family, peace, giving, reflecting, together 

Second, the goals...
1. Complete December Daily and Holidays in Hand as a hybrid project.
2. Do not over commit. That includes entertaining, projects and accepting invitations.

I think that's a good starting point for this project.   

I'm also in the process of putting together my 2009 Week in the Life (inspired by Ali Edwards) album. I'm creating all of my own templates for this one so the process is a bit slower than last year, but I'm loving it. 

A peek at Day 1 (keep in mind I will be adding traditional elements to the pattern paper blocks on the final printed layout)...
