Talk about your fave color.
Why is it your fave color? What do you like about it?

PINK! Different shades, great color combinations...what's not to love! OK...just a little more. It's more than a favorite color. This color represents changes I've made and the "me" I've become. As pretty much a not-too-long-ago basic black, white, brown kind of person I can now look into my closet and see color and patterns! And...I can actually wear them! The walls in my house are no longer all white nor are they all the same color! Color has come into my world in a big way and I love it! So you see, PINK is more than a favorite color!

I'm going to write 5 things about my husband, Chad.

1. He is an amazing tech geek.
2. As a pilot for the USMC his helicopter once caught on fire while transporting reporters from a ship in Monterey Bay, CA and he ended up on reality TV shows.
3. He has a great "sarcastic" wit.
4. His entire childhood could easily have been the Leave It To Beaver series.
5. He is the most selfless person I know.

Today's (((Bloggers))) challenge at 2 Peas is...

Do you want to convert your real life non-scrapper friend into scrapbookers? Not particularly. I like things the way they are. I'm really a me-time-at-home-in-my-studio kind of scrapper. But, if a friend asks I'm more than happy to help them with questions, ideas, getting started, etc.

Do you find friends that scrapbooks? If so, how? Not really.

Do you show your pages to someone who doesn't scrapbook? Yes, family and anyone that asks to see my albums/layouts. Even non-scrappers like to see the albums!

Do you think you avoid topic about scrapbooking because your non-scrapper friend just don't get it? I don't necessarily avoid it. It just never comes up. How I can spend so much time in my studio or how I can get so excited about pattern paper, textured cardstock, ribbons, completed mini albums...they just don't get it and that is ok.

Todays (((Blogger))) challenge at 2 Peas

Fill in the blanks:

1. I almost peed myself when Chad gets on a roll of comic relief...so incredibly funny!
2. Country music is my least favorite music of all.
3. The smell of leather reminds me of new shoes and purses.
4. When I was younger my mom told me I couldn't wear pink or red because I had red hair.
5. The last time I screamed was because...I don't remember the last time I screamed.
6. The one person I aspire to be most like is...myself. I'm happy with who I am (most of the time). It only took 30-something years.
7. I say I love you and hug and kiss Chad, Alec and Alyssa everyday.
8. I scrapbook beacause of so many reasons!
9. People drive me crazy when they are rude. There is no reason for it.
10. A special gift I remember receiving, that meant the world to me, was a collection of coins and $2 dollar bills that Chad collected over over a period of 10 years to replace my collection that was stolen. The coin and 2.00 bills were given to me over the years by my grandfather.

Random scrapbook questions:

1. How did you get into scrapbooking? Stopped by a Memories store while waiting for a hair appointment.
2. How do you define your style? I don't
3. Do you like scrapbooking with other people? I never get anything done when I try to scrap with other people. I'm more of a stay-at-home-me-time kind of scrapper.
4. Do you have friends that scrapbook with you? See #3 and I really don't have friends that are as into scrapping as I am. How sad is that? LOL
5. Do you ever scrapbook about yourself? Yes, I started an AAM last year and do a minimum of one LO a month.
6. Do you scraplift? When I frist started I totally scraplifted entire LOs. Now, with a little more creative confidence, I rarely scraplift. Of course I see great ideas and things I want to try...is that scraplifting?
7. Do you stamp on your scrapbook pages? Yes, primarily letters using foam and rubber with ink or paint.
